Keynote Speakers
This year we have the pleasure of welcoming co-keynote speakers- the husband and wife duo- Dr. Prabhjot Singh and Manmeet Kaur.
Prabhjot Singh
Director of Arnold Global Health Institute
Prabhjot Singh, MD, PhD is the Director of the Arnhold Institute for Global Health and Chair of the Department of Health System Design and Global Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as well as Special Advisor for Strategy and Design at the Peterson Center for Healthcare.
In 2013, he co-founded the One Million Community Health Worker Campaign with Jeffrey Sachs, which is an initiative of the African Union and UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. In 2015 he was invited to join the UN Broadband Commission’s Information and Communication Technologies working group to build scalable health platforms to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2016, his Arnhold Institute team, in partnership with the UN Secretary General Special Envoy’s Office, will launch the Health Equity Atlas of Africa, an open framework to drive collaboration between data scientists, health system experts and frontline health workers.
Manmeet Kaur
Executive Director and Founder of City Health Works
Manmeet Kaur founded City Health Works in 2012 to create a business case for the integration of local health coaches into the U.S healthcare system. Prior, she was an advisor to the One Million Community Health Worker Campaign and worked on community health and workforce initiatives in South Africa (Mamelani Projects), India (LabourNet) and NYC (the Brennan Center for Justice). In her time abroad Manmeet saw the potential for reverse innovation from lower cost health systems when applied to the U.S.
Manmeet's work has been featured in PBS Newshour, The Economist, NPR, Generations, the New England Journal of Medicine, the Commonwealth Fund, the NY Daily News, the Brookings Institution, NationSwell, and more. She earned an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Barnard College. Manmeet is currently a Janice Nittoli Practitioner Fellow at the Urban Institute and a Draper Richard Kaplan Social Entrepreneur; she has formerly served as a PopTech Social Innovation Fellow, a GLG Social Impact Fellow, and a Third Millennium Human Rights Fellow. She serves on the Board of the Sikh Coalition, a civil rights organization, and as an Advisory Board Member to the Sikh Family Center. Manmeet was born and raised in New York; she lives in New York with her husband, mother and two energetic sons.

Info-Sessions
The information sessions wills be facilitated by EHHOP clinic leaders. It is essentially a time where clinic members should gather to acquire knowledge about how other clinics operate. We encourage all attendees to meet and talk to each other to get ideas form each other during these sessions. Each session will have a topic (i.e. how to incorporate patient feedback, immigration knowledge, etc.). A tentative list of sessions is as follows:
